Dublin Backpacking
Visit Irelands capital, learn about our history from locals while immersing yourself in our culture and quaint side street pubs
As a back packer it will be pretty hard to not start in Dublin. You can reach Dublin from almost very airport in the world (sometimes via a flight from London) so it makes most sense to spend a little time here to soak up some culture.
While we’d recommend you visit all the normal attractions such as the storehouse, trinity etc we’ve also some unique experiences and options that will help you immerse yourself in Irish culture. For instance while temple bar is a popular tourist spot its rare to find irish enjoying a drink here.
We’ll be able to find cheap accommodation thats centrally located and advise on day trips to explore wicklow, kildare and meath where you’ll be able to visit some of the most sought after attractions there are to see in ireland
Get out to the west
If you’re planning on staying a little longer its without a doubt worth seeing the wild atlantic way.
if you’re here for a month or two or even more you’ll be able to explore some unusual spots most people wouldn;t be able to get to. Hanging around clifden for a few days you’ll see some of Ireland’s most pristine beaches with white golden sands like the carrebian or venture out to the islands where time stands still. You could even venture north and learn how to surf while traveling between sligo and donegal chasing the swell. Or you could get lost by song, dance and story telling in Kerry . . . . the choice is yours!
